CRE8 // 3-YEAR IMMERSION PROGRAM

What is cre8?

CRE8 is a 3-year program (6th-8th grade) designed to challenge youth to become creative problem solvers. Through outstanding leadership, perseverance, and self-awareness, they build community and a vision for a positive future. CRE8 youth think of themselves as enthusiastic, committed, and creative. If you feel READY to stretch your limits, CRE8 is a program for you!*

*You must have taken at least one Studio Coyote course.

CRE8 Opportunities

  • Creative monthly gatherings with a community they feel they belong to (Mondays)

  • 1 public art project to connect you to making something bigger than yourself (2nd year)

  • The chance to make a final project in any medium to share at a community showcase (3rd year)

  • One swag item each year (backpack, t-shirt, water bottle etc.)

  • Entrance to 3 professional art happenings in the greater Seattle community (2 field trips per year)
                (ex. professional dance performance, SAM private tour, tour local artist studio, go to a local play etc)

  • Opportunities to represent Coyote as ambassadors at school and special events

  • Opportunities to volunteer in a variety of ways for Coyote at special events

  • Leadership opportunities to become mentors as they graduate from Coyote and enter high school


THE CRE8 COMMITMENT

CRE8 is a big commitment, but a fun one! A CRE8 kid has:

  • thoroughly considered and is ready to take on a 3-year program.

  • commits to attending once monthly meetings regularly (we know you might miss one here and there)

  • commits to signing up for and attending three Coyote classes per/year with great attendance.

  • commits to volunteer at one event per year.

  • both student and family agree to have OUTSTANDING communication with the Coyote staff!
