You'll create short films with high-quality digital video and editing equipment. In teams you'll pick favorite songs to be the soundtrack and you'll go on to develop scripts, create storyboards, film them, add your music, and edit. You'll shoot against a green screen to acquire great visual tricks &techniques. You'll watch your films on the big screen at NWFF the last day of class and leave with a polished DVD.$270

Having built your first piece of furniture it's time to up the ante in both designing and building your next one. You'll design your choice of chairs, cabinets, small tables, etc., by making concept drawings, scale models, working drawings, and cutting diagrams. You'll learn to use professional level power equipment, including a sliding compound miter saw and a plate joiner, to fabricate and assemble your project. Learn the techniques that artists use in glass kiln work. You'll be working with two dimensional glass, using the professional tools needed to safely cut and shape it as you design and lay out your art pieces, ready for the kiln. Once kiln-melted at 1300 - 1500 degrees, your pieces will be returned to you as glass pins, pendants, ornaments, plates, window art - whatever you chose to create in two dimensional glass and to discover how your layouts are transformed in the kiln.$245
