Hit the Streets young artists live in the Central Area or southend. They are 12 to15 years old and come from a rich diversity of cultural backgrounds — and they are eager to create art. Many of them are recommended by school personnel and youth service agencies as being responsible, interested in art, and eager to step up to major community transformation. Those selected for the project are the ones who submit the most impressive four–part application.
